When Will Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce See Each Other Again? Inside Their Schedules
While the Chiefs star is expected at training camp and the Eras Tour rages on, their schedules’ overlaps are few and far between
It’s been a summer of love for Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce!
The buzzy couple has only gotten buzzier, as their romance crossed international borders over the past few months and even spilled onto the Eras Tour stage during a surprise concert cameo in June — all while the Kansas City Chiefs star has been on break from the football season.
But ever since Chiefs training camp began on July 21, Kelce has been notably absent from the audience of his girlfriend’s record-breaking Eras Tour, tied up most days in early-morning practices at the Chiefs’ training fields at Missouri Western State University in St. Joseph, Mo.
While her boyfriend has been back on the field, the “Cruel Summer” singer has been continuing to plow through her slew of concert dates throughout Europe. Swift just wrapped up seven nights in Germany across three cities, playing her final show in Munich on July 28.
But there’s no rest for the weary: The performer is next set to play three straight nights in Warsaw, starting on Aug. 1, before bringing her three-and-a-half-hour act to Vienna and then back to London over the next few weeks.
Meanwhile, Kelce is expected to report to practice, preparing for his team’s game against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Aug. 10 to kick off the preseason. The tight end does have a two-day break in his football schedule the two days before the preseason matchup, and it’s theoretically possible that he could cross the pond to see Swift dazzle the Austrian crowd on those nights, but he’d be facing some serious jet lag when he hit the field the next day.
The same is true when the “Fortnight” singer starts a five-night Eras Tour extravaganza in London on Aug. 15. While Kelce doesn’t have any official practices scheduled during those concert dates, he will have to juggle two more preseason games — against the Detroit Lions on Aug. 17 and the Chicago Bears on Aug. 22 — if he wants to attend any more shows or score some time with Swift.
The pair’s best bet, then, is after Swift wraps the European leg of the Eras Tour following her final show in London on Aug. 20, but before she resumes touring in North America in October.
