Travis Kelce opens up on new career venture as Hollywood actor after NFL star feared he’d get fired on first week
The Kansas City Chiefs tight end has landed what he describes as a “big role” in Ryan Murphy’s upcoming FX horror series, Grotesquerie.
And Kelce has opened up on his “challenging” new career venture after beginning filming the show alongside costar Niecy Nash-Betts.
“It’s been so much fun,” Kelce told his brother Jason on the latest episode of New Heights.
“Ryan Murphy is [an] unbelievable writer, director, producer, all of the above, man.
“He’s just, there’s nothing he can’t do and everybody’s just been so helpful in making me feel comfortable.
“Even on top of that, just giving me kinda the direction I need and the coaching I need to portray the part that I’m in.”
Kelce joked that he is glad that he hasn’t been fired from the series yet.
“I feel like a jabroni. I feel like an amateur. And, uh, I haven’t gotten fired yet so we’re doing good…” he added.
“They haven’t told me to f***king kick rocks after the first week, so it’s been awesome.”
