However, this might bring about a friendly debate between Chiefs’ quarterback Patrick Mahomes and Kelce.
Kelce, along with San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle and former tight end turned Fox Sports broadcaster Greg Olsen, launched the fourth annual Tight End University on June 17 in Nashville, Tennessee.
During the event, Kelce addressed the young tight end players, sharing his passion for the position. A video posted by a fan page on X captured Kelce describing why he loves being a tight end.
“The biggest thing I wanted to let all the tight ends here know is that we do have the best fu**ing position on the field,” he noted.

Kelce’s statement about the tight end being the best position might stir some light-hearted controversy among quarterbacks, including Mahomes.
While opinions differ on whether the tight end is the best position, many recognize its critical role in football.
