Travis Kelce, 34, dismisses retirement talk and vows to play ‘until the wheels fall off’ as Kansas City hosts two-day minicamp for new season
Speculation around Travis Kelce’s career has seemed to grow the further the star tight end gets up there in age.
The 34-year-old Kansas City Chiefs superstar has compiled one of the best careers at his position in the history of the NFL.
As such, Kelce plans to go as long as he possibly can while playing amongst the elite in the NFL.
Kelce recently said that he plans to play ‘until the wheels fall off’, according to The Athletic.
‘Hopefully, that doesn’t happen anytime soon,’ the star tight end said on Tuesday.
‘I really can’t put a timeframe on (retirement). I love coming to work every single day.
‘Obviously, I know there’s opportunities outside of football for me. You have to keep in perspective that I’m still a little kid when I come into this building, man.
‘I know I’m 34 years old, but I have a love to do this right here, in the middle of the heat in June. I love coming to work every single day.’
