Trained by Serena Williams’ Coach, Mike Tyson’s Daughter Puts Coco Gauff on the Same Pedestal With Her ‘Favorite’ Tennis Player
Mike Tyson‘s youngest daughter took a different path and instead of boxing gloves, she picked up a tennis racket. Milan Tyson, 16, is surging fast in the tennis world, all thanks to her dedication, hard work, and her efforts to emulate her idols. While she has had one of the tennis legends guiding her, she has a sharp opinion about Coco Gauff, with whom she trained a couple of years back.
Moreover, this piqued the fans’ interest as the second-youngest child of Mike Tyson had once declared enthusiastically, “Djokovic and Serena Williams are my favorites.” This also reflects the change in the current tennis landscape which Williams has dominated for quite some time. But ever since her calling it quits in 2022, a new generation of female tennis stars has erupted onto the scene, with Gauff being one of them.
Notably, Milan Tyson started training in tennis at 3 and has even dragged her father, Mike Tyson, into the sport, who is now a constant attendee at the US Open. When she was only 12, she made headlines, as William’s coach Patrick Mouratoglou took her under his wings. She also perfected her tennis skills under the tutelage of Mike Agassi, father of former tennis star, Andre Agassi. But it all started with Tyson trying to follow in the footsteps of Serena Williams.
