Tom Felton Gave A Pretty Interesting Response To A Question About Emma Watson Romance

There are a few co-stars we will always wish had actually got together in real life. From Phoebe Dynevor and Regé-Jean Page to Timothée Chalamet and Saoirse Ronan, we’ll always hold out just a little bit of hope. But there’s one on-screen pair who have actually given us reason to hope over the years, Harry Potter co-stars Tom Felton and Emma Watson aka Draco and Hermione. And now, it looks like we can dare to dream just a little longer, after he gave a very interesting response to a question about a romantic relationship between them.

‘Temma’ stans have been around for years, ever since Emma gave an interview back in 2011 where she revealed that Tom had been her first crush as a kid on set of the Harry Potter films. And now, the Temma theories are back in action after he described their relationship as “something”, which famously, is not nothing.

“We are something, if that makes any sense?” Tom told Entertainment Tonight when asked about his relationship with Emma. “We’ve been very close for a long time. I adore her, I think she’s fantastic. Hopefully she returns the compliment.”

“As far as the romantic side of it, I think that’s a Slytherin/Gryffindor thing rather than a Tom and Emma thing,” he continued. “I absolutely think the world of her. I think to be a part of what we’ve all been a part of, but for her to be the only girl, certainly the youngest one on set, to grow up with what she had to grow up with was incredibly exciting. You’re going to get me teary now, but no, I think she’s a fantastic influence on the world.”

This is the latest in a long history of Temma updates, which started to seem like a legitimate thing and not just a fan theory back in August 2019 after Tom and Emma shared a photo playing the guitar in their pyjamas together, off the back of their secret Hogwarts reunion in November 2018. And in November 2019 Potter co-star Rupert Grint said to Entertainment Tonight of the pair, “There was always something. There was a little bit of a spark.”

We are desperate to get to the bottom of that ‘something’ everyone keeps mentioning…
