The royals are undertaking a five-day tour of the south Asian country.
Not long after Prince Harry and Meghan Markle wrapped up their trip to southern Africa, another royal tour is afoot. This time, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are in the spotlight, and they’re spending five days in Pakistan.
Few details have been released about the tour’s day-to-day schedule, largely because, as the couple’s Communications Secretary explained, it’s “the most complex tour undertaken by the Duke and Duchess to date, given the logistical and security considerations.” Still, fans can expect the tour to “span over 1000 km and will take in Pakistan’s rich culture, its diverse communities, and its beautiful landscapes,” according to a spokesman. And as the Communications Secretary noted, the itinerary will “largely focus on showcasing Pakistan as it is today—a dynamic, aspirational and forward-looking nation.” That’s certainly been the case so far.
