Taylor Swift’s Dancer Honors Liverpool in Cute ‘We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together’ Shoutout During Show
Swift performed her third and final Liverpool Eras Tour Show on Saturday, June 15
Taylor Swift made a sweet change to her final Eras Tour show in Liverpool.
On Saturday, June 15, during Swift’s third Eras Tour show at Anfield Stadium, in Liverpool, England, the singer honored the city by incorporating a surprise twist to her song “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together.”
In footage posted on X (formerly Twitter), Swift’s dancer, Kameron Saunders changed up his “Like, ever” shoutout in the song to instead say, “Jog on, lad!”
The phrase is used by scousers — which is a colloquial term for people from Liverpool — and loosely means “get lost.” Saunders even adopted a Liverpudlian accent for the switch-up, much to the delight of the audience, who roared their approval.
Saunders is known for saying the phrase in the native language of where the performance is taking place — but he also made a special switch-up during Swift’s first show in Liverpool to mark her 100th Eras Tour show.
In a video shared on TikTok from the Thursday, June 13, concert the dancer changed the shout-out to “for the 100th time, no.”
