Swift, who is set to perform her second gig at Anfield stadium later today, stayed up late after her first Liverpool show to join a live stream of the celebration. The action was shared by Chariah Gordon, girlfriend of Travis’ teammate Mecole Hardman Jr, and Swift didn’t hesitate to get involved.
“Hello Liverpool, you have just gone and made me feel absolutely incredible,” Swift said on the opening night. “I just want to say those things mean the world to us getting to play the show for people who would go so far above and beyond for us and welcome us to Liverpool in such a fashion,” she added. “We love you so much.
You know, while I was walking to the stage they pulled me aside and told me another thing that you’d done for us tonight. And that thing is you’ve broke the all time attendance record for this stadium.”
