Taylor Swift has taken over the music world and now she might be headed for the comic book hero one as well.
The Down Bad singer reportedly had a meeting recently with Kevin Feige, the president of Marvel Studios to discuss a possible role in the film franchise. Fans of the singer suspect she might appear in the latest Deadpool movie, as it’s no secret that Taylor is friends with Ryan Reynolds who plays the iconic character.
Ryan has been seen with Taylor and his wife, Blake Lively out and about in New York. They’ve also attended football games together to cheer on Taylor’s boyfriend Travis Kelce, and Taylor has name dropped Ryan and Blake’s daughters in some of her songs
The actor has recently spoken out about the possibility of Taylor joining the upcoming film Deadpool & Wolverine. In an interview with Screen Rant, Ryan said that “so many people might end up in the film.”
“Anything can happen and that’s sort of what I love about this universe,” he added, “Surprises are the essence of Deadpool.”
Ryan added that he even saw a rumour that Elvis Presley – who died in the 1970s – would make a cameo in the film. Ryan also reiterated that “anything could happen.”
Taylor is also close with Hugh Jackman, who plays Wolverine in the Marvel Universe. Hugh has also become part of Taylor’s squad at Kansas City Chiefs games and going out on the town.
Speculation started ramping up last year when Taylor was seen in New York City with the film’s director, Shawn Levy. Shawn has neither confirmed or denied Taylor’s possible cameo.
