Taylor Swift fans beg for speculation to stop as pressure piles on the hitmaker
Taylor Swift fans are begging fellow Swifties to stop speculating when she will announce the Reputation re-release as ‘pressure’ piles on the hitmaker
Taylor Swift fans are begging for speculation to stop as “pressure” piles on the hitmaker.
The 34-year-old American superstar is currently in the UK for her Eras Tour. Last weekend she performed three sold-out shows in Edinburgh at the Murrayfield Stadium, and last night she wrapped another three in Liverpool at the Anfield Stadium.
Ahead of her Liverpool show on June 13, speculation was rife that the singer could announce the re-recording of her 2017 album Reputation. Due to Taylor’s lucky number being 13, fans were convinced that a big announcement was coming, especially because this date also coincided with her 100th Eras show.

No announcement happened, with fans still heavily speculating when Reputation (Taylor’s Version) could be coming. And now some fans are annoyed over the “pressure” that Taylor is under when fans speculate an upcoming announcement.
Taking to X after Taylor wrapped her trio of shows in Liverpool, one fan said: “Right this may be unpopular but can we PLEASE stop clowning for rep and debut?? You know how Taylor takes the pressure and idk, after everything we’ve got, I don’t think it’s fair to constantly be doing.”
Replying to the post, another fan agreed when they added: “She’s literally gave us so much idk why people want more.”
And last week when Taylor stepped out in London wearing the same necklace she wore the night she announced The Tortured Poets Department at the Grammys, fans were speculating a Rep announcement again when someone slammed: “She was just telling us that the TTPD era is not over and to stop asking for Rep TV.”
Earlier this year, another fan added: “STOP pressuring Tay for Rep TV, appreciate that Tay is going to release an album, don’t pressure her into releasing a re-record pls, or she’ll punish y’all like she did ‘now go stand in the corner and think about what you did’.”
