Sofia Vergara pays tribute to longtime friend and renowned real estate agent Barry Peele as she says: ‘My life will never be the same without you’

Sofia Vergara paid tribute to her longtime friend and renowned real estate agent Barry Peele after he tragically passed away aged 61.

Taking to her Instagram on Sunday, Sofia, 51, shared a gallery of sweet snaps of the pair together over the years.

Expressing her heartbreak at the loss of her friend, Sofia captioned the touching snaps with: ‘My life will never be the same without you ❤️U.’

The cause of death has not been revealed. Fans of the actress then flocked to the comment section to offer their condolences.

One fan commented: ‘Losing a loved one is never easy. My condolences to you and all who love him. May he rest in peace.’;

‘I’m so sorry your heart is sad, Sophia. The death of a friend is a hurt that hits different. I, unfortunately know this loss. Look for butterflies. He will show up. I promise.’;

‘My condolences. I know how much he loved you.’;

Barry was a renowned real estate agent in Beverley Hills and helped start Sotheby’s International Realty 21 years ago.

He has consistently ranked among the best in selling luxury homes throughout his career.

He also worked with a star-studded client list including Madonna, 65, Demi Moore, 61, Sharon Stone, 66, Sofia, and many more.

Barry, who was born in 1963, was ten years older than his best friend Sofia and the pair had a very close relationship as they often spent a lot of time together.

In April, Barry took to his Instagram to post a sweet snap of the pair as he wished Sofia a ‘Happy Easter.’
