Sofia Vergara and Manolo Gonzalez Vergara Launch Culinary Brand TOMA
The Knockturnal attended the launch party for Sofia Vergara and her son Manolo Gonzalez Vergara’s Latin culinary brand TOMA. The lively celebration was held at Hyde West Hollywood and featured a themed cocktail list to complement the TOMA empanadas and croquetas, which will soon be available at restaurants across the US.
TOMA partnered with Sam Nazarian’s Everybody Eats to bring accessible, high quality ingredients and South American flavors to fast dining experiences, featuring beef and chicken empanadas in salsa verde, cheese & onion and guava & cheese empanadas, ham and chicken croqueta options, and pandebono.
The name TOMA comes from Sofia Vergara’s nickname “Toty” in conjunction with “Manolo,” symbolizing the mother-son partnership that combines Manolo’s love for cooking and Sofia’s love for Latin food. The brand will initially launch in Los Angeles, Miami, and Chicago, and aims to highlight the delicious and unique flavors of authentic South American cuisine.

TOMA products can be found at local restaurants and grocery stores as early as Fall 2024, and will soon be available for purchase via Sysco and US Foods.
