Royal rule could see Prince George separated from family
A royal rule may soon force Prince George and his father apart while travelling. The family already have a number of guidelines to follow – from what they can eat on official outings, to refraining from PDA.
But the eldest son of Princess William and Kate Middleton may soon be instructed to follow another regulation. The Mirror reports that in order to protect the royal lineage, heirs to the throne were unable to fly together
Directly impacting those in line to the throne, William, King Charles and the late Queen have previously honoured this rule. The tradition was put in place to ensure the monarchy remained stable in the event of a catastrophic plane crash
Former pilot, Graham Laurie, spoke about the rule during HELLO Magazine’s ‘A Right Royal Podcast’. He said Prince William followed the rule when he turned 12 in 1994. Son George will celebrate his 12th birthday in July next year
