Grammy-winning Nigerian artiste, Temilade Openiyi, known as Tems, has shared a revelation about her perception of success, attributing it to a direct message she received from global pop icon Rihanna.
During an interview with popular YouTuber Korty EO, when asked about the moment she realized her success, Tems recalled the moment of receiving a message from Rihanna.

The host asked: “At what point did you realise that you’ve become successful?”
Tems replied: “I knew I’d blown and gone far when I got a DM from Rihanna.”
Tems, who co-wrote Rihanna’s “Lift Me Up” for the Black Panther 2 soundtrack last year, highlighted how Rihanna’s interest in collaborating with her and fellow artiste Ayra Starr earlier this year further solidified her recognition as a successful artiste.
“Offset is jealous of Cardi B because she is more successful than him and is being ‘courted’ by another man – love drama makes the online community stir!”
