RIHANNA MAKES APPEARANCE AT POP-UP TO PROMOTE FENTY BEAUTY IN CHINA
THE WHAT? Rihanna made an appearance at a pop-up store for her make-up line, Fenty Beauty, in Shanghai to support the launch of the brand in China. The pop-star prepared popular Chinese streetfood, jianbing, in front of fans.
THE DETAILS The event was attended by several well-known influencers, according to a report published by CNN.
THE WHY? Rihanna announced the Chinese debut of Fenty earlier this spring, timed to coincide with her appearance on the cover of Vogue China in April. The singer’s in-person attendance was part of advance publicity for online shopping platform, Douyin’s, 618 shopping festival.
