Queen Camilla’s ‘rather comical’ outburst as she demands ‘caged lion’ King slow down

The Queen has reportedly expressed concerns about the amount of engagements the King has been conducting despite his ongoing cancer treatment.

The Queen has been caught on several “comical” outbursts as she complains about how much work the King is undertaking while still receiving treatment, an insider has claimed.

Camilla has steadfastly remained at her husband’s side since he was diagnosed with an undisclosed form of cancer earlier this year

His Majesty took a step back from public-facing engagements in the early stages of his treatment but earlier this month resumed part of his duties – leaving his wife somewhat frustrated, according to expert Jenny Bond.

The former BBC royal correspondent claimed the Queen has repeatedly expressed her exasperation at her husband both behind the scenes and in public.

Bond said: “It’s rather comical images behind the scenes, Camilla saying, ‘for goodness’s sake, Charles!’

“She was at a garden party and she was asked how he was doing. She said, ‘he would be doing well if he would just behave himself’.”

The expert noted the King has been described as a “caged lion” eager to tackle a full agenda of engagements despite his ongoing health issues.
