Prince Harry ‘misses Princess Diana every day’ as he shares heartbreaking admission
Prince Harry bared all about his feelings towards the late Princess Diana, who he described as ‘simply indescribable’ after comparisons to the likes of Mother Teresa
Prince Harry was only 12 when his mum, Princess Diana, was killed in a car crash on August 31, 1997.
However, he has been committed ever since to carrying on her legacy and continues to talk with pride over the late Princess. In his controversial memoir titled Spare, the Duke of Sussex bared all and shared a heartbreaking admission following the death of his mother.
He also admitted any comparisons between Diana and Nelson Mandela and Mother Teresa felt “wide of the mark”. While he said such comparisons were “lofty and loving”, he explained how she was “simply indescribable”.
Describing his feelings that followed years after her passing, Harry candidly shared: “How was it possible that I could see her, clear as the swan skimming towards me on that indigo lake? How could I hear her laughter, loud as the songbirds in the bare trees—still? There was so much I didn’t remember, because I was so young when she died, but the greater miracle was all that I did.”
He went on to gush over her “devastating smile” and “vulnerable eyes” and reminisced over her love of clothes, sweets and music, just like him and his brother, Prince William. He ended the passage by reiterating just how much her loved his mum.
