At the conclusion of Kansas City Chiefs training camp, Patrick Mahomes is getting real about his All-Pro teammate Travis Kelce.
The quarterback raised eyebrows when he labeled Kelce “a bad influence” and explained that he has to limit his time around the tight end

“It makes my job easier as a leader to push other guys, because I can just say, ‘Look at the Hall of Famer who’s out here practicing harder than anybody,'” he said of Kelce’s “remarkable” work ethic
Kelce is widely considered one of the best tight ends in NFL history, but Mahomes went as far as comparing him to the best pass catcher ever, Jerry Rice.
“He enjoys the process of being great. Not just the top, not winning the Super Bowl. He enjoys the process of practicing, of working on little details. That’s what the great ones do. You hear stories like that about Jerry Rice,” Mahomes said
