Coco Gauff steps into her own with the New Balance Coco CG1, setting the pace with her signature style! With every new event, she always has her own custom shoes to go with her outfit on the court. Now that the American is ready to take over the Olympics, New Balance recently launched Coco CG1 sneakers, with the 20-year-old sharing her reaction to the Olympic edition

The shoes have a sand-colored sole that contrasts with the upper’s subtle stone and off-white tones, along with hairy suede details. Her father’s famous quote, “You can change the world with your racquet,” is a unique touch that gives the fashionable shoes a motivational and intimate touch.
The official Instagram handle of the sportswear company shared a picture of the new shoes in red, adding a bit of blue: “The Coco CG1 ‘Star-Studded.’” It’s a similar pattern to her previous custom shoes that she has worn for Roland Garros.

Along with that, joining in the excitement, the French Open finalist also took to her Instagram account to share the same. Gauff shared the post and wrote, “Inspired by Olympics spirit, Paris color way goes crazyy.” She is the first female tennis player to have her own signature shoe. Coco Gauff debuted a new tennis shoe in collaboration with New Balance.

A major turning point in Coco Gauff’s relationship with New Balance since she signed an endorsement deal in 2018 has been reached with the release of a new tennis shoe in partnership with the company. Gauff debuted her own line of unique shoes, in which she was fully involved from start to finish. Being the first female tennis player to have her own signature shoe style is a distinction she proudly bears.

Expressing her excitement about the collaboration, Gauff told Forbes, “It’s an absolute dream come true to be able to put my stamp on this sport with New Balance and hopefully inspire generations to come. I am really excited to see how people wear this shoe, on and off the court.”
