The Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle has set out her terms before she and Prince Harry even entertain the thought of patching things up with his elder brother, Prince William, and his wife, Kate Middleton.
Attempts have been made by William and Kate to mend fences with Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, yet relations continue to be fraught following the Sussexes’ step back from their royal roles.
Royal author Tom Quinn suggests that while the Cambridges are keen on reconciliation, Meghan is holding back until her prerequisites are fulfilled.
Tom Quinn, in a chat with the Mirror, let slip: “Harry would like a reconciliation but supports his wife completely and until she feels that the Royal family have been sufficiently nice to her – and grovelingly apologized for the past – it’s not going to happen.”
Since leaving their official duties, Harry and Meghan have lobbed various bombshell claims at the Royal establishment in notorious interviews and their explosive Netflix documentary, ‘Harry and Meghan’, reports the Daily Record.
Quinn, who keeps a close eye on royal affairs, speculates that Meghan may be putting up roadblocks to Harry initiating peace talks with the Prince and Princess of Wales and is withholding an “olive branch” possibly due to Kate’s cancer scare.
