Harrison Butker’s ‘Hope’ For Travis Kelce, Taylor Swift Resurfaces
Harrison Butker’s old comments about Travis Kelce‘s relationship with Taylor Swift have resurfaced this week due to his controversial graduation speech at Benedictine College.
In March, Butker was asked about Kelce and Swift’s romance during an appearance on “EWTN News In Depth.”
Butker said, “I hope they get married and start a family.” At that time, it seemed like a very wholesome thing to say.
Fast forward to the present day, and some people believe Butker’s words may have a new meaning. That’s because he made some – let’s just call it interesting – remarks to the female graduates for Benedictine College.
“I want to speak directly to you briefly because I think it is you, the women, who have had the most diabolical lies told to you,” Butker said over the weekend “How many of you are sitting here now, about to cross this stage, and are thinking about all the promotions and titles you are going to get in your career? Some of you may go on to lead successful careers in the world but I would venture to guess that the majority of you are most excited about your marriage and the children you will bring into this world.”
Does this mean Butker doesn’t approve of Swift’s career? Probably not, but no one really knows.
Swift is currently preparing for a concert in Sweden. The belief is Kelce is with her in Europe.
