Following clay doubles in Madrid and Rome, Coco Gauff sets her sights on Roland Garros. As she is now in the global fashion capital, many would have thought that the American tennis prodigy would be tempted to go on a shopping spree. However, the current number-three player is reluctant to go shopping in Paris, as her previous spending in Rome has turned costly, according to recent disclosures. Coco has surely has some “unfinished business” both on and off the court!

In an interview with TODAY, the reigning US Open champion was asked if she had been shopping quite a lot in Paris, as it acts as the center of the fashion industry. n her honest response, the young WTA sensation opened up about how her shopping spree in Madrid and Rome has turned costly for her as she has yet to shop in Paris. “Actually, I haven’t gone yet because I was in Rome and Madrid like last week and I spent some of my money there. So I was going to you know chill and stop,” Gauff answered with a chuckle.

However, Gauff will be checking out some thrift stores in Paris, as she was asked to ‘research’ good spots in the fashion capital. “Okay, I will definitely hit some thrift stores here, and then I will make a video to send it to you guys.” The American player might not be going shopping in Paris, but she is already slaying the streets in style with her latest voguish fashion collection.

The current number 3 player, who is a brand ambassador for New Balance, recently brought to light her new look ahead of the Grand Slam in Paris. In her Instagram post, Gauff was sighted strolling the streets of Paris while donning a multicolored sweatshirt and a baggy six-pocket denim from the sports fashion and footwear brand’s latest collection. The tennis prodigy also added the caption, “fit pics, new CG1s, & macarons”
