Did Travis Kelce Just Confirm This Huge (and Expensive) Taylor Swift Rumor?
Travis Kelce may have accidentally let it slip exactly just how much he paid for Taylor Swift’s suite at the 2024 Super Bowl.
In new footage from Netflix’s docuseries Receiver, which dropped on Wednesday, July 10, Kelce was filmed speaking with San Francisco 49ers’ tight end George Kittle, asking his opponent if he was planning on renting out a suite for the Super Bowl.
“No, I can’t,” Kittle told the Kansas City Chiefs tight end.
While Kelce didn’t say for sure that’s exactly how much he happened to spend on the family and friends suite for February’s Big Game — in which the Chiefs dominated the 49ers 25 to 22 — there’s no doubt that the NFL star threw down some major cash in order to get Swift, all of her A-list pals, and his own family to watch the game from the best seat in the house.
In fact, ahead of the Super Bowl, he told brother Jason Kelce on an epIsode of theIr New Heights podcast that he wasn’t planning on doing anything “different” that year — “other than just counting how much money I’m spending on this damn Super Bowl for family and friends to come,” he quipped. “Just making sure I’m on top of those finances and losing all this money.”
As fans will remember, Swift partied in the VIP suite with Blake Lively, Ice Spice and Lana Del Rey as the Chiefs paved the way to victory in overtime. The celeb pals remained hyped throughout the whole game, with Swift and Lively chest-bumping at one point and even chugging their drinks.
