King Charles ‘directly’ asked estranged son Prince Harry to stop leaking royal family’s secrets: report
Prince Harry was directly asked by his estranged father, King Charles, to stop “leaking” personal details about the royal family’s private life, according to a report.
Harry and wife Meghan Markle sensationally shut the door on royal life in 2020 and hightailed it across the pond in a desperate search for privacy.
But soon after settling down in Montecito, California, the duo signed on the dotted line for a series of tell-all projects, each of which revealed bombshell details about the ongoing rift between both camps.
After sitting down for an interview with Oprah Winfrey, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex went on to release their six-part Netflix documentary, as well as Harry’s protocol-shattering memoir, “Spare.”
“Harry has been asked directly by his father not to write or say publicly anything further about the family or his brother that might cause trouble,” royal commentator Tom Quinn claimed to the Mirror.
And everyone knows that when a king asks you to do something, there are going to be consequences if you do not obey.”
Quinn continued, “Over the years that Harry has complained about his treatment by his family he has had just one aim — to get an apology and to see his father and brother make amends.”
“Harry just can’t see that complaining in private might work; complaining publicly just makes things worse, and in Harry’s case, that means more and more ties to his past being severed.”
